Many people in the community are reacting in the best way they can after Gov. Mike DeWine’s announcement on Monday that Ohio K-12 schools will finish the school year with remote learning as he explained that this will help contain the virus.

Superintendent from Clark and Champaign schools are disappointed but understand that safety is a top priority.

How do you feel about the school year finishing with remote learning? How do you feel about the closure and everything that comes along with it?

One Springfield senior told us the school extension has been pretty rough, especially with online learning and missing out on events and possibly graduation.

Her mother also said it’s been frustrating to think about her and other students missing out on the senior events as well, especially graduation.
