Clark County recycling station temporarily closed due to full bins

One of Clark County’s recycling centers is temporarily closed due to bins being too full after Christmas, according to the county.

The North Recycling Station, located at 525 E. Home Rd. in Springfield, will re-open Friday afternoon, according to a statement posted on Clark County’s Facebook page.

“The bins are expected to re-open tomorrow afternoon once the station is serviced by our contractor,” the post said.

If county residents have recycling leftovers from Christmas packaging and wrapping paper, the county asks that residents use the West Recycling Station, located at 1620 W. Main St. in Springfield, the statement said.

“The parking lot has drop-off containers open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week,” the post said.
