The Ohio Masonic Home will honor veterans at 10:30 a.m. with a recognition ceremony at the Springfield Masonic Community, 7 Masonic Drive in Springfield. Coffee and donuts will be provided prior to the ceremony.
After the ceremony, veterans and their families can attend a cookout at noon in the Festival Green Clubhouse.

Greenon Schools
Greenon High School will honor veterans and members currently serving in the armed forces, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a Veteran’s Day program at Greenon High School, 3950 S. Tecumseh Road in Springfield.
Ray O’Conor, a World War II B-17 fighter pilot, will be the keynote speaker at the assembly.

South Charleston Memorial
The South Charleston Veterans Memorial will be dedicated at 1 p.m. The memorial is located at the end of Woodward Street at State Route 41. It is next to the bike path on the south side of the village.
Veterans will be honored for their service.
In the case of very inclement weather the dedication will be moved to Southeastern High School.
Crossroads Hospice
Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care will recognize local veterans for their service at AllenView Health Care Center, 2615 Derr Road in Springfield at 1:30 p.m.
Each Veteran will be honored during a pinning ceremony.
American Legion Post 286
The American Legion Post 286, 2251 N. Dayton-Lakeview Road in New Carlisle, invites veterans to a Veteran’s Day celebration, 3 to 10 p.m.
Veterans will share memories with each other and honor members of the armed forces.

American Legion-Bailey Frey Post 125, 927 S. Yellow Springs St. in Springfield, will celebrate 100 years of local history during an open house at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees will see a display of historical photographs. Refreshments will be provided.
