Chick-Fil-A food truck to make multiple visits to Springfield

Chick-Fil-A of Beavercreek will bring their food truck to Springfield this week and again throughout the month of August.

The truck is part of Chick-Fil-A of Beavercreek’s catering team, said Paul Hicks, Emergency Services Manager for the City of Springfield, who helped to bring the truck to Springfield.

“They came out last year once or twice and were really successful so they reached out that they wanted to come back again,” Hicks said.

The truck will be parked alongside National Road Commons on Mill Run Place and will visit Springfield on Wednesday, July 24, Thursday, Aug. 1, Wednesday, Aug. 7, Wednesday, Aug. 21, Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Friday, Aug. 30.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and will continue until the truck runs out of food, Hicks said.

The menu will include; chicken sandwich meal, chicken nugget meal, spicy chicken sandwich meal, fries, cookies and bottled drinks.

Currently, the closest Chick-Fil-A to Springfield is located in Beavercreek.

The Springfield News-Sun has reached out to Chick-Fil-A for comment on whether or not the chain has any plans in opening a location in Springfield, but has not heard back.
