Car crashes into tree in Clark County

Clark County deputies said wet roads and speed were to blame for a crash in Springfield Twp.

Crews had to work for 30 minutes to free the 19-year-old driver.

He lost control and crashed into trees in the 3900 block of Lower Valley Pike around 10:20 a.m.

Deputies said his injuries are not life-threatening, and he was taken to Springfield Regional Hospital for treatment. He was alert when rescue workers arrived at the scene.

CareFlight was requested, but could not fly because of the weather conditions.
