Election 2017: Polls now closed in Clark, Champaign counties

Voting polls closed across Clark County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

Springfield voters turned out to vote for Springfield commissioners, school board candidates and many issues locally and state-wide. Northeastern Local Schools voters decided on a $117 million school bond issue and New Carlisle voters decided on a local income tax issue change.

No issues were reported at polling locations today in Clark County and voter turnout had been low.

About 16 percent of registered voters had come out to the ballot box at about 4 p.m., Clark County Board of Elections Director Jason Baker said this afternoon.

No problems have been reported in Champaign County either so far today, according to the Champaign County Board of Elections.
