Clark County Commission resumes in-person meetings

The Board of Clark County Commissioners has resumed in in-person meetings after canceling them in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In-person meetings resumed on Wednesday, June 30 and the board has discontinued video streaming or teleconferencing.

“We’re back to full in-person meetings while also adhering to all social guidelines,” Clark County spokesperson Michael Cooper said.

The board meets on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. until about 10:30 a.m. on the 5th floor of the County Offices/Municipal Court Building located at 50 E. Columbia St. in Springfield. Face coverings or masks must be worn if you wish to attend.

The City of Springfield Commission also went online for their meetings around the same time as the county due to the pandemic. However, the city has yet to announce plans to return to in-person meetings.
