Yellow Springs Schools seeking input on facilities

The Yellow Springs Board of Education is seeking input from local community members on the future of the facilities in the district.

On Monday, March 27, local residents are invited to attend a community forum 6:30 p.m. in the Yellow Springs High School cafeteria, 420 E Enon Rd. Tours of the high school will be available following the forum.

The forum will feature district leaders who will review information about a potential project to address the aging school buildings in the district and to review master facilities plans. Residents will be able to discuss the plans as well.

This meeting is the first in a series scheduled for 2017 and aimed to engage the community in discussions about the district facility needs, community input on the buildings, and the future of the facilities in the district.

Results of the forum will be used by the Board of the Education to make informed decisions related to the future of education in the district.
