The following students received scholarships in excess of $5,000:

Jacob Bertemes, son of PJ and Beth Bertemes, will attend Wittenberg University. He has accepted a total of $24,200 in scholarships from Wittenberg University Scholar Award, Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship, Southeastern Athletic Boosters, American Legion Post 176 and South Charleston Community Club.

Kalie Entler, daughter of Tony and Cathy Entler and Cindy and Peter Gram, will attend Wright State University. She has accepted a total of $15,330 in scholarships from Wright State Val/Sal Scholarship, Ohio National Guard Enlisted Association Scholarship, Scholarship for Military Children, South Charleston Community Club, Southeastern Athletic Boosters and American Legion Post 176.

Olivia Hudson, daughter of Mae Spada and Rusty Hudson, will attend Ohio State University. She has accepted a total of $18,350 in scholarships from Ohio State Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship, Junior Achievement Turner Circle Leadership, Springfield Foundation Ralph H. and Kathryn Ann Harman Memorial Scholarship, South Charleston Community Club, Southeastern Athletic Boosters and American Legion Post 176.

Miranda Bobst, daughter of Tom and Teresa Bobst, will attend Ohio Christian University. She has accepted a total of $13,300 in scholarships from Exchange Club Student of the Year, Sinclair Tech Prep Scholarship, Clark State Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship-Ohio Christian University, American Legion Post 176 and South Charleston Community Club.

Jillian Channell, daughter of Todd and Janet Channell, will attend Ohio State University. She has accepted a total of $5,750 in scholarships from AAYHS Scholarship Winner, Build Ford Tough/Whites Auto Group Scholarship, Springfield Foundation Virginia Edmondson Memorial Scholarship, Southeastern FFA Boosters and South Charleston Community Club.

Aaron Hunter, son of Scott and Melissa Hunter, will attend Wittenberg University. He has accepted a total of $18,450 in scholarships from Wittenberg Legacy Scholarship.

Lea Kimley, daughter of Kelly and Kirsten Kimley, will attend Ohio State University. She has accepted a total of $6,800 in scholarships from Clark County Pork Producers, JD Equipment, United Producers Inc. Southeastern FFA Boosters, Earl and Betty Hawkins Scholarship, Springfield Foundation George Tehan Fischer Memorial Scholarship, American Legion Post 176 and South Charleston Community Club.

Alexis Perry, daughter of Missy Cordial and Aaron Perry, will attend Wittenberg University. She has accepted a total of $24,850 in scholarships from Mervin Britton Scholarship Award, Wittenberg Legacy Scholarship, Alumni Recognition Award, Springfield Foundation John J. Corbitt Scholarship, American Legion Post 176, Southeastern Athletic Boosters and South Charleston Community Club.
