Matthew P. Conway, 22, address at large, was placed in Clark County Jail on a burglary charge and an outstanding warrant for assault Friday.

Springfield man robbed at gunpoint
A Springfield man who had let a man and woman stay at his home in the 600 block of Rubsam Street one night last weekend told police he was robbed at gun point by the male in the morning.
He alleged he heard a noise about 7 a.m. and found the male half putting multiple collectible items in various bags. The man allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and said the material possessions were not worth dying for, then left. STAFF REPORT
Man jailed on domestic charges
Joshua A. Sparkman, 23, of 2162 W. Possum Road, Springfield Twp., was placed in Clark County Jail Thursday on charges of domestic violence and assault.
He’s accused of grabbing a 23-year-old woman he know by a strap around her neck and chest, causing a mark, and shoving her with an open hand between 8:30 and 9 p.m. at his home, according to a Clark County sheriff’s report. STAFF REPORT

• A handgun, television and a watch, valued at $1,600, were reported stolen between 1:30 and 7 p.m. Thursday during a home burglary in the 1100 block of Gondert Street, Springfield.
• Car audio equipment, valued at $500, was reported stolen between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday from a vehicle in the 4700 block of Merrimont Avenue, Moorefield Twp. STAFF REPORT
