Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Dollar General store Friday evening in Springfield.
The robbery was reported just before 7 p.m. at the store, 1201 Sunset Ave.
The robber was armed with a handgun and was described as a male with a mustache wearing a gray hoodie with the hood pulled up, black shorts and white shoes, a Springfield police lieutenant said.
He ran away from the store in an unknown direction.
