Son of Oregon District Shooting victim volunteers for the Salvation Army

A man who lost his father in the Oregon District Shooting is volunteering for the Salvation Army to honor his father’s memory.

Derrick Fudge, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, was killed in the Aug. 4 Oregon District mass shooting in Dayton.

On Saturday, his son was standing at the Kroger on South Limestone Street in Springfield doing what he can to help others.
