Urbana High School scholarship recipients

The following graduation candidates accepted a minimum of $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships:

Brittany Adams, daughter of Jennifer and Steve Adams, will attend Columbus College of Art and Design and major in fine arts. She accepted a total of $8,000 in scholarships from Columbus College of Art and Design.

Bailey Allen, daughter of Marie Harber and David Allen, will attend Tiffin University. She accepted a total of $5,500 in scholarships from Tiffin University.

Elizabeth Brugger, daughter of Kerry and Kathy Brugger, will attend Walsh University and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $11,700 in scholarships from Walsh University and the Springfield Foundation.

Casey Cole, daughter of Geoff and Fritzi Cole, will attend the University of South Carolina and major in international business. She accepted a total of $17,000 in scholarships from University of South Carolina.

Michael Crabill, son of Bruce Crabill, will attend Ohio Dominican University and major in chemistry. He accepted a total of $8,000 in scholarships from Ohio Dominican University.

Casey Evans, daughter of Craig and Becky Evans, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University and major in education. She accepted a total of $10,000 in scholarships from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Clark Henson, son of Julie and Randy Henson, will attend University of Findlay and major in business. He accepted a total of $17,400 in scholarships from University of Findlay.

Adaleine Jackson, daughter of Lance and April Jackson, will attend Marietta College and major in leadership/English. She accepted a total of $14,000 in scholarships from Marietta College.

Lance Laird, son of Terry and Wendy Laird, will attend Columbus College of Art and Design. He accepted a total of $12,000 in scholarships from Columbus College of Art and Design.

Lauren McCurdy, daughter of Janet McCurdy, will attend Otterbein University. She accepted a total in excess of $13,000 in scholarships from Otterbein University.

Leanna Pittsenbarger, daughter of Aaron and Carmen Pittsenbarger, will attend Eastern Kentucky University and major in chemistry. She accepted a total in excess of $45,000 in scholarships from Eastern Kentucky University.

Becca Riley, daughter of Everett and Peggy Long, will attend Urbana University and major in criminal justice. She accepted a total of $5,000 in scholarships from Urbana University and the Chris Crevison Memorial Scholarship.

Katie Sands, daughter of Dave Sands and Cathy Bodey, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She accepted a total of $9,000 in scholarships from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Alex Schenkel, son of Gary and Kay Schenkel, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University and major in graphic design. He accepted a total of $11,000 in scholarships from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and the Junior Achievement/Gerald Shiffer Scholarship.

Rachel Townsley, daughter of Lorraine and Mark Townsley, will attend The Ohio State University and major in food, agricultural, and biological engineering. She accepted $22,000 in scholarships from The Ohio State University, Urbana FFA, Ohio State Food Science Dept., Honda and Ohio State Partnership, and Ohio State Maximus.

Kyle Upchurch, son of Steve and Valerie Upchurch, will attend Capital University and major in business. He accepted a total of $12,000 in scholarships from Capital University.

Danielle Wildman, daughter of Ward and Victoria Wildman, will attend Ohio Northern University and major in business. She accepted a total of $17,500 in scholarships from Ohio Northern University.

Cole Winner, son of Brad and Jackie Winner, will attend Baldwin-Wallace College and major in history education. He accepted a total of $14,000 in scholarships from Baldwin-Wallace.

The following graduation candidates were awarded renewable and nonrenewable scholarships under $5,000:

Abigail Adkins, daughter of Ken and Mindy Adkins and Tom and Elaine Sachetti will attend Clark State Community College and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $500 in scholarships from KTH.

Erin Alexander, daughter of Stephen and Carol Alexander, will attend Wright State University and major in clinical lab science. She accepted a total of $2,500 in scholarships from Wright State University/Paul Lawrence Dunbar Scholarship.

Nathan Beard, son of Ann and Dean Stillings, will attend Bowling Green State University and major in physical education. He accepted a total of $1,500 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University.

Courtney Fain, daughter of Corina and Lonnie Fain, will attend University of Charleston and major in psychology and political science. She accepted a total of $4,500 in scholarships from The University of Charleston.

Matt Henry, son of Lisa and Dale Henry, will attend Bowling Green State University and major in accounting. He accepted a total of $1,500 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University.

Heather Huffman, daughter of Aaron and Melissa Huffman, will attend Otterbein University and major in allied health. She accepted a total of $4,500 in scholarships from Otterbein University.

Kierra Mays, daughter of Fred Mays and Shannon and Tyler McCrary, will attend Sinclair and major in dental hygiene. She accepted a total of $500 in scholarships from KTH.

Aaron Pappas, son of George and Cathy Pappas, will attend The Ohio State University and major in mechanical engineering. He accepted a total of $1,200 in scholarships from The Ohio State University/Trustee Scholarship.

Brittney Reisinger, daughter of David Reisinger and Cindy Smith, will attend Urbana University and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $2,500 in scholarships from Urbana University, Chester Swisher Scholarship and Urbana FFA.

Ashley Wagner, daughter of Mike and Beth Wagner, will attend Bowling Green State University and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $1,500 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University.
