The Jack-o’-lantern is barely rotten, and the turkey hasn’t even started to get fat.

That hasn’t stopped one radio station from decking the halls.

The music can be streamed on the station's website.

A message on the station’s website from programming director Jeff Evans reads, in part:

“We believe Christmas is the most joyful time of the year! It’s all about celebrating the birth of Jesus…the biggest event in human history…and the one that our entire faith is built upon!

We don’t think it’s ever too early to celebrate that!  Even though the music is different from what we normally play, the message is still the same. God loves you and has a plan for your life and He desires a relationship with you! He loves you so much, that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die for you. We want EVERYONE in the Tri-State area to hear that good news! We believe it’s a celebration! Why would we limit a celebration THIS big to just a few weeks? Besides, I’m not sure it’s written anywhere that Christmas music can only start after Thanksgiving?”

The station says it will play Christmas music through Christmas.

What do you think? Is it too soon to be talking about figgy pudding and mistletoe?
