Kenton Ridge High School scholarship recipients

The following graduation candidates accepted a minimum of $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships:

Jeremy Armstrong, son of Joe and Jennifer Armstrong, will attend Tiffin University. He accepted a total in excess of $25,092 from Tiffin University.

Dylan Atkins, son of Christie and Doug Atkins, will attend the University of Findlay and major in pharmacy. He accepted $14,000 from the University of Findlay and the KR Band Boosters-Debbie Lawrence Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Thomas Bennett, son of Kyle and Tonay Bennett will attend Clark State Community College and major in software engineering. He accepted a total of $6,500 from Clark State Community College, National Football Foundation, Greenon Federation of Teachers and Springfield Foundation.

Hannah Benston, daughter of Denny and Sherry Benston, will attend Bowling Green State University. She accepted a total of $5,000 from Bowling Green State University, Burger King Scholars Program and the Springfield Foundation.

Hunter Clark, son of Tami and Steve Clark, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University and major in accounting. He accepted $12,000 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and the Kenton Ridge Boosters.

Catherine DeBell, daughter of Robin and Geri DeBell, will attend Berklee College of Music and major in contemporary music production/performace. She accepted $14,000 from Berklee College of Music.

Lindsey Fenwick, daughter of Rob and Lori Fenwick will attend the United States Military Academy West Point. She accepted a $100,000 scholarship from the United States Military Academy West Point.

Allison Fulk, daughter of Rick and Shelly Fulk, will attend Capital University. She accepted a total $17,300 from Capital University and the Kenton Ridge Boosters.

Anna Gebby, daughter of Andrew and Martha Gebby, will attend Urbana University. She accepted a total in excess of $20,000 from Urbana University.

Harley Hamilton, daughter of Gregory Hamilton, will attend Capital University. She accepted a total of $32,000 from Capital University, William D. Squires Foundation Scholarship, Springfield Foundation and The Exchange Club.

Collin Hawke, son of Kevin and Lynn Hawke, will attend Ohio Christian University and major in disaster management. He accepted $8,000 from Ohio Christian University.

Madeline High, daughter of Bela and Amy High, will attend Xavier University and major in history. She accepted a total of $17,000 from Xavier University and the Kenton Ridge Boosters.

Eric Hube, son of Joe Hube and Lisa Hube-Grimes, will attend Tiffin University. He accepted $15,000 from Tiffin University.

McKenzie Meyer, daughter of Jeff Meyer and Shelly Pergram, will attend Wright State University and major in forensic psychology. She accepted a total of $6,000 from The Elks and Woeber Mustard/Moorefield Township Scholarship.

Andrea Paul, daughter of Robert and Angela Paul, will attend The Ohio State University and major in environmental engineering. She accepted a total of $5,500 from The Ohio State University and the Northridge Lions Club.

Clayton Portz, son of Greer and Sheila Portz, will attend Northern Kentucky University. He accepted a total of $16,500 from Northern Kentucky University, Kenton Ridge Boosters-Cougar Spirit and Elks #51.

Brandon Rinker, son of Jeff and Sheryl Rinker, will attend Tiffin University. He accepted $24,492 from Tiffin University.

Arika Roush, daughter of David Roush and Cindy Powell, will attend Kent State University. She accepted a $5,000 athletic scholarship from Kent State University.

Luke Schlicher, son of Marty and Cheryl Schlicher, will attend Tiffin University. He accepted $9,500 from Tiffin University.

Megan Schmitt, daughter of Joe and Mary Beth Schmitt, will attend the University of Findlay. She accepted $12,500 from the University of Findlay.

Miles Ellsworth Senior, son of Ellsworth and Patrice Senior, will attend Miami University. He accepted a total of $20,000 from Miami University and the Kenton Ridge Student Council Scholarship Fund.

Brendan Richard Taylor, son of Thomas Taylor and Deanne Taylor, will attend Wittenberg University. He accepted a total of $12,250 from Wittenberg University and the Joey Mosier Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Brynn Taylor, daughter of Larry and Susan Taylor, will attend New York University. She accepted a total of $15,750 from New York University, Springfield Foundation and Miss Holiday in the City.

Mellisa Tipton, daughter of David Tipton and Ranell and Joe Easterday, will attend Kettering University. She accepted $13,000 from Kettering University.

Quinton Marcus Woodmansee, son of Valerie Hart, will attend Capital University. He accepted $30,000 from Capital University.

The following graduation candidates accepted renewable and nonrenewable scholarships under $5,000:

Heather Berry, daughter of Thomas and Cindy Berry, accepted a total of $2500 from Urbana University and KTH Parts Industries Inc.

Brigette Castiaux, daughter of Julie and Todd Castiaux, accepted a $1,000 softball scholarship from Cuyahoga Community College.

Taylor Evans, daughter of Elizabeth Evans and James Evans, accepted a $4,400 scholarship from Robert Dudley Legacy of Learning Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Springfield Branch of AAUW, Helen L. Krout Memorial Scholarship and the Kenton Ridge Student Council.

Abigail Funk, daughter of Thaddeus and Ann Funk, accepted the $1,000 Richard Phillips Memorial Kenton Ridge Boosters Scholarship, from the Kenton Ridge Boosters.

Heather Gram, daughter of Paul and Deana Gram, accepted the $1,000 Tricia Wirth Memorial Nursing Scholarship from the Tricia Wirth Scholarship Fund, Nick Foss Memorial Nursing Scholarship and Kenton Ridge Band Boosters.

Jessica Hinkle, daughter of Dian and Scott Oesterle and Roger Hinkle, accepted a $1,300 scholarship from Miami University.

Aaron Kunce, son of Nancy and Jim Kunce, accepted a $900 scholarship from the Springfield Foundation. He will attend Clark State Community College and major in criminal justice.

Tess McNeil, daughter of Mike and Julie McNeil, accepted a $1,250 Mervin Britton Scholarship from Clark ESC. She will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University and major in Spanish.

Kylie Meyer, daughter of Scott and Vicki Meyer, will attend the University of Cincinnati and major in fine arts. She accepted a $1,000 scholarship from the University of Cincinnati.

Katie Miller, daughter of Brian Miller and Lori Gilliam, accepted a $1,000 scholarship from the Northridge Lions Club.

Derek Pelfrey, son of Stephen and Kimberly Pelfrey, accepted a $500 scholarship from the Springfield Rotary Club, Interact students.

Alexis Royse, daughter of Nicole Meadows and Jeremy Royse, accepted a total of $3,250 in scholarships from Wright State University and Northeastern Board of Education-Roger Compton Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Brittany Siegenthaler, daughter of Matthew and Christine Siegenthaler, accepted a total of $2,500 from the Marathon Petroleum Scholars Program.

Rebecca Woode, daughter of Ken and Carol Woode, accepted a $1,500 scholarship from Bowling Green State University.
