Arts organization raffling off adventures for you and your friends

Giving to an arts organization could be your ticket to adventure.

Culture Works a nonprofit regional arts agency,  is raffling off arts experiences to those who donate $25 or more as part of 25 More, a campaign for the arts initiative that runs through May 28.

Bill Perry, Culture Works' new development manager, said the campaign launched in April and has given away a list of experiences that includes a knit and sip party valued at $150 and theater tickets for five.

“Each week, we will be drawing a name for a random arts experience from those people who have made a gift,” he told this news organization.

The next drawing will be at 5 p.m. today, May 14. The prize includes a tour of the Westcott House in Springfield.

Those wishing to participate should text "Culture" to 74121 or visit qtego.net/culture to make their gift.

“New donors only need to give $25, and people who have already given should give $25 more on top of their current gift,” Perry explained.

Money raised provides operating support grants to a list of local cultural organizations, including the Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Contemporary Dance CompanyDayton Performing Arts AllianceThe Human Race Theatre Company and Muse Machine.
