YELLOW SPRINGS — It’s time, once again, for the semiannual Yellow Springs Street Fair, this Saturday, Oct. 10. The free event will feature food, drinks, live entertainment, plus unique imported items, handmade crafts, jewelry and much more.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attendance at the street fair has been growing every year, and the expected attendance is about 20,000, said Karen Wintrow, executive director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. There will be about 300 vendors, including the popular sellout Crazy Uncle Jester’s hot sauces and Dan Fibbs’ tie-dye T-shirts, she said.

“We have vendors that have been coming for 20 years to both street fairs. We try to keep a balance of new and repeat vendors,” she said.
