The zoo offers free admission to the military on Memorial Day, July 4 and Veteran’s Day. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family.

Military personnel who qualify for the free admission ticket and discount offer for family members include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps with government issued ID.

The zoo is also kicking off it summer extended hours this weekend. From May 25 to Sept. 2, the zoo will be open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Zoo members and Adventure Ticket holders can enter at 9 a.m.

“There’s so much to see, do and eat at the Zoo this summer,” said Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard in a release. “Ten painted dog pups just moved in next to Fiona in Painted Dog Valley, and a baby giraffe could arrive any day! The gardens are gorgeous, and the food is better than ever.”
