Brought to you by

Is it just us, or has Thanksgiving snuck up on you this year, too?

We contacted Dan Young, owner of Young’s Jersey Dairy and the Golden Jersey Inn north of Yellow Springs, to find out about his restaurants’ Thanksgiving Day plans, and Young told us he has been sold out for more than two weeks for the Golden Jersey Inn’s buffet. “We have about 900 guests coming,” Young said.

There are other options, but time’s a’ wastin’ — we recommend making reservations soon.

Here’s a partial list of restaurants that are open and serving a special Thanksgiving-themed meal on the holiday itself. The list is not complete, and we’ll be adding to it in the coming days, but you may want to call your favorite restaurant now to find out their plans. Some restaurants may already be booked full with reservations, but may put you on a standby list in case of cancellations.

This partial list does not include the dozens of sports bars and pubs in the region that open Thursday afternoon and will be open for their regular hours and serving their regular menu Thursday night.
