During the concert, tornado victims will be able to connect with organizations like The American Red Cross and FEMA to access services including outreach, free health screenings and more.
Those who wish to make donation to the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund can bring a check or cash to be collected during the concert. Donations also can be made online. Established by The Dayton Foundation to support tornado recovery efforts, the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund pledges 100 percent of its donations to vetted nonprofit organizations that address the long-term and immediate needs of the community.
"RiverScape MetroPark is the Dayton region's front porch and one of our community's favorite gathering places," Becky Benná, Five Rivers MetroParks executive director, said. "When so many in our community are in need, and when so many want to help, Five Rivers MetroPark and its partners, SOCHE and The Dayton Foundation felt this was an opportunity to provide a venue and event that support both."

The concert is the result of a Community Partnership between Five Rivers MetroParks, SOCHE (Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education), The Dayton Foundation and many caring community partners who want to honor those affected by the Memorial Day tornadoes.
“Through this event, we hope to celebrate our amazing neighbors across our community,” said Cassie Barlow, President of SOCHE. “We’d like to take a little bit of time to celebrate all of the people in our community who have given so much and continue to give.”
