Clark County Fair announces entertainment lineup

Summer 2011 looks to be more of the same from the county fair that gave you Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley each on their way to slightly bigger things.

The Clark County Fair has announced Lee Brice will play the fair’s Big Tent at 8 p.m. July 23.

Brice’s “Love Like Crazy” was the most-played country song of 2010, according to Billboard, and was up for single and song of the year at this month’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Big Tent also will host Southeastern High student Wyatt McCubbin at 7:30 p.m. July 22 (see this kid while you can), Phil Dirt and the Dozers at 8 p.m. July 24 and another promising homegrown country singer and songwriter, New Carlisle’s Kate Hasting, at 7 p.m. July 29.
