Sweet Manufacturing Company has a new vice president of manufacturing.

Dwayne Gundolf has joined the company.

Gundolf will be responsible for leading all aspects of Sweet’s manufacturing processes and people. He will ensure that Sweet continues to provide a quality “Made in the USA” product via a safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process, accoridng to a news release from the company.

Gundolf comes to Sweet with over 30 years of previous manufacturing experience. After graduating from Hobart School of Welding Technology, he began his career as a welder and over the years has served in various capacities, including Quality Control Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and General Manager. Gundolf’s most recent responsibility was leading the day-to-day operations of an automatic and high precision machine shop.

Gundolf has training in manufacturing leadership from Rice University, business management from Clark State Community College and LEAN Manufacturing certification from Sinclair Community College, the release says. He has expertise in the areas of quality control, safety and regulatory compliance, production process development, value stream mapping, LEAN manufacturing and performance efficiencies.
