Independent group going after Trump

An independent outside group dedicated to stopping Republican front runner Donald Trump released a one-minute video that uses Trump's own remarks about women against him.

"Donald Trump has the largest gender gap that we've ever seen in a Republican primary and the gap grows even larger in a general election," said Katie Packer, chairman of Our Principles PAC, in a written statement about the ad. "When you hear this collection of his comments about women, it's no wonder. His pattern of bullying, humiliating, demeaning and objectifying women has been consistent throughout his life. Trump's treatment of women, not to mention his recent conduct at campaign rallies, demonstrate why he is an unacceptable nominee for our party and an unfit to lead our nation."

The PAC was started this year as an effort to stop Trump. Packer served as deputy campaign manager for Republican Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign. Romney, who is campaigning with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, has spoken out forcefully against Trump's presidential candidacy.

The video comes just days after Our Principles PAC published a one-minute video highlighting clashes at Trump rallies and allegations by a female reporter that she was manhandled by Trump campaign staff.
