Brown names new communications chief

Jennifer Donohue is U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown's new communications director. She replaces Meghan Dubyak who left Brown's staff in December to be Vice President Joe Biden's press secretary.

Donohue recently worked for the Ohio Democratic Party but was assigned as press point person on Democrat Ted Strickland's campaign for U.S. Senate.

Donohue has five years of U.S. Senate experience, having served as communications director for U.S. Sen. Max Baucus, D-Montana.

“No one fights harder for working people than Senator Sherrod Brown, and I am thrilled to serve the people of Ohio as part of his team,” said Donohue in a written statement.
