Michael A. Hill, 32, has been charged with five counts each of drug possession and distribution of drugs and a single count of parole violation, according to court records.
Hill appeared in the Clark County Municipal Court on Tuesday morning but was removed from court by Judge Eugene Nevius because he was talking at the beginning of daily arraignments. He was later brought back in but was again removed for throwing the podium to the ground. Hill never entered a plea and his bond was set at $100,000.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant about 9 a.m. Monday at Hill’s home at 290 Johnson Ave. in Springfield.
Before the search, Hill was on parole and supposed to meet his parole officer at 9 a.m. The man told his parole officer he overslept and was headed to the office with a woman. Before he left the home, detectives allegedly saw Hill place a bag inside a vehicle before leaving in a different car, the report says.
Once they arrived at the parole office, Hill and the woman were taken into custody. Detectives then began the search and removed two other people from the home.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene to sniff near the car and allegedly alerted officers to the possible presence of narcotics, the report says. Officers alleged they found a grocery bag containing a glass jar with marijuana, plastic baggies containing three grams each of a tan powder substance and three grams of a white rock-like substance, as well as pill bottles containing Endocet, Norco and Buprenorphine, the report says.
The car also allegedly contained three digital scales, a clear glass dish and numerous rubber gloves, the report says.
Inside the home, detectives allegedly found a baggie containing a white powder substance in the kitchen. In a cardboard box above the washer and dryer, detectives alleged they found a baggie with 10 grams of a white rock-like substance, a baggie with five grams of a white powder substance and $4,027 in cash, according to the report.
“In the currency, there were numerous one dollar bills and five dollar bills, which is indicative of drug trafficking,” the report says.
The woman who was detained reportedly told police she was unaware of any drug trafficking and said she’s not at home for long periods of time due to her work schedule. She also was unaware of the large amount of cash and told officers she doesn’t ask Hill “about his business,” the report says.
Hill was placed in the Clark County Jail.
