HS Roundup 9/5: Tecumseh boys take lead in CBC Kenton Trail

The Tecumseh boys soccer team defeated Shawnee 4-1 on Wednesday to move into the top spot of the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division.

Emmanuel Gutierrez, Kenyon Runner, Elijah Hall and Enrique Ruiz each had a score for Tecumseh and Stephen Mattingly posted two assists.

Tecumseh improved to 2-2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play; Shawnee fell to 2-3 and 0-1.

Boys Soccer

Bellefontaine 1, Kenton Ridge 0: Daunte George put in the game-winning goal off an assist from Derek Robb.

Girls Soccer

Indian Lake 3, Graham 2: Payten Drewery and Amber Robeson each had a goal in a losing effort for Graham.

Boys Golf

Arcanum 183, Twin Valley South 190: Willie Bowman finished with a 42 for TVS and Carter Gray led Arcanum at 44.

Bellefontaine 174, Tecumseh 185: Aaron Shaner carded a 43 for Tecumseh in a losing effort.

Ben Logan 184, Kenton Ridge 191: Ethan Ricketts shot a 42 and Kaiden Weaks a 46 to lead Ben Logan.

Northmont 172, Butler 177: Alec Avdakov hit back-to-back birdies, finishing with a 40 for Northmont. Austin Greaser finished one over par at 37 for Butler.

Troy 172, Sidney 186: Holden Scribner tallied a 39 and Ryan Dowling a 43 to pace Troy. Mitchell Larger shot a 43 for Sidney.

Girls Golf

Ben Logan 179, Mechanicsburg 243: Mailiis Simovart led the field with a 38 and Sydney Wesson added a 42 for Ben Logan.

Miami East 196, Franklin Monroe 231: Paige Lawson had a 40 and Kearsten Kirby a 47 to lead Miami East.

Piqua 200, Greenville 212: Kelsey Bachman paced Piqua with a 43. Jada Garland shot a 46 for Greenville.

Shawnee 181, London 266: Isabella Demayo earned medalist honors with a 40 for Shawnee.

St. Henry 192, Wapakoneta 217: Ellen Naumann finished with a 38 to carry St. Henry.

Girls Tennis

Middletown 4, Fairborn 1: Hannah Wilson, Julia Kovach and Isabel Fonseca swept the singles matches for Middletown.

Tippecanoe 4, Fairmont 1: Amelia Zwierig and Mira Patel picked up singles wins to help Tippecanoe improve to 10-1. Katie West had the lone victory for Fairmont.

Troy 3, Tecumseh 2: Hailey Taylor and Mackenzie Nosker each won a singles match for Troy. Ashley Fite won in first singles for Tecumseh.

Girls Volleyball

Greeneview 3, Xenia 0: Maddie Hines had 10 kills, Bryce Ratliff 21 assists and Ashley Schloss 3 aces and 3 blocks for Greeneview.

Greenville 3, Stebbins 0: Shelby Herman recorded 15 digs and Emma Klosterman 12 kills to pace Greenville.
