HS Roundup 2/5: Pavoni reaches 1,000 career points in Ben Logan win

Savannah Pavoni tallied 12 points, passing the 1,000 career point mark while leading Ben Logan in a 40-24 win versus Northwestern in girls basketball Wednesday night.

Girls Basketball

Badin 45, McNicholas 37: Jada Pohlen and Mickayla Kowalski combined for 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead Badin, which wrapped up the regular season with a 14-8 record.

Beavercreek 60, Springfield 43: Maci Rhoades chipped in 16 points to lead ‘Creek and Anna Landing added 14. The win marked the 798th career win for Beavers coach Ed Zink.

Chaminade Julienne 56, Fenwick 45: Jordyn Varise scored 15 points, Eve Monaghan 13 and CJ used a 15-8 run in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Tecumseh 71, Bellefontaine 27: Terah Harness and Gabrielle Russell turned in 16 points apiece and Makenzie Chinn added 14 for Tecumseh.

Trotwood 50, Miamisburg 47: Abby Carter totaled 14 points and Anna Long 12 in a losing effort for ‘Burg.

Northmont 2438, Lebanon 2373: Nick Satterthwaite tallied games of 246 and 236 in helping Northmont win a fourth consecutive Greater Western Ohio Conference divisional title.
