HS Results 12/20: Hookfin leads unbeaten Lebanon

Harrison Hookfin led the unbeaten Lebanon boys basketball squad in a 44-30 win against Springboro on Wednesday.

Hookfin tallied 20 points with eight rebounds and Brendan Lamb chipped in 10 points.

Lebanon improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

Thomas Arrington scored nine points for Springboro.

Boys Basketball

Minster 57, Lehman Catholic 51: Jarod Schulze recorded 20 points with 16 rebounds to lead Minster. Kameron Lee had 13 points for Lehman.

Girls Basketball

Northmont 73, Springfield 50: Shalaya Heath scored 18 points and Makayla Cooper 17 as Northmont pulled away in the final quarter. Freshman Mickayla Perdue scored 30 points for Springfield in a losing effort.

Troy 38, Piqua 23: Tia Bass tallied 13 points with 10 rebounds and Alaura Holycross chipped in 10 points to lead Troy. Lily Stewart had nine for Piqua.

Tippecanoe 66, Butler 30: Maddie Frederick totaled 21 points and Allison Mader 15 to lead Tipp.

Fenwick 48, Middletown 44: Kaitlynn Anzel finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds and Jenna Adams had 11 points and 15 rebounds to help Fenwick hold off a Middies rally. Aubriana Bellard led Middletown with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Fairfield 55, Lakota East 49: Zahrya Bailey led the way for Fairfield with 17 points and Addie Kidd added 10. Danni Stoughton put up 15 points and Megan Hatfield 12 for East.

Talawanda 56, Mount Healthy 47: Addie Brown poured in 28 points with 10 rebounds in a second-straight double-double performance for Talawanda. Kyra Koontz added 12 points.

Indian Lake 52, Graham 46: Brooke Johannes had 17 points and Madi Vanscoy chipped in 10 points with 10 rebounds in a losing effort for Graham.

Wrestling

Butler 46, Bellefontaine 24: Josh Suddeth, Logan Hoskins, Michael Brandt, Joseph Soloman, Justin Love, and Ethan Cyrette each posted wins for Butler in the dual meet. Bruno Sampson, Braden Jacobs, C.J. Cook, Dawson Miller and Noah Yoesting had victories for Bellefontaine.
