A 22-year-old right-handed hitter, he split last season between Double-AA and Triple-A, posting a .234 batting average with nin homers and 54 RBIs.
Graterol is a 27-year-old right-handed hitter who made his major-league debut last season and logged four hits in nine games.
He batted .270 in 11 minor-league seasons after signing with the Royals as a 17-year-old free agent.
