Ohio State notes: OSU's first four opponents have all failed to gain 300 yards, something that last happened in 1996… The Buckeyes have the second-longest active winning streak in the nation at 10 games, trailing only defending national champion Clemson (19)… They have scored at least 28 points in the first half of each of their games this season and are outscoring opponents 135-18 in the first half… Ohio State defensive end Chase Young has 17.5 sacks since the start of last season, the most in the nation over that time according to the OSU sports information department… ESPN will be in Lincoln to film its College GameDay morning show with Centerville's Kirk Herbstreit among the co-hosts. Ohio State is 31-13 in GameDay games, and no team has more wins when the show is taped on-site than the Buckeyes. Alabama leads in appearances (46).

He entered the season as the Big Ten's returning leading tackler… Wan'Dale Robinson, a freshman from Kentucky, has 195 receiving yards and and 126 rushing yards this season… Nebraska has two Ohioans on the roster — offensive lineman Matt Sichterman, a sophomore who went to Kings High School and cornerback Tony Butler, a junior who went to Lakewood St. Edward.

Quoted: Frost on the game getting lots of outside attention, including from ESPN College GameDay: "It's fun. Anytime there is a spotlight on your campus, your university, your town, I think it's a good thing. If you let it be a distraction it can be. They will probably mic me up at practice or something, but I don't raise my voice much anyway so I don't know how much good footage they are going to get. I don't want it to distract the players. It's not going to distract us. We've got a really good team coming in here and we need to be at our best to have a chance to beat them."

Next game: The Buckeyes return home to play host to Michigan State in another night game next Saturday. Nebraska will play host to Northwestern.

Prediction: Ohio State 42, Nebraska 20
