Njoku reportedly had some drop issues in camp, but his athleticism is hard to match. Since the team released Gary Barnidge not long after selecting Njoku, he’s been the presumed starter.

Njoku flashes the ability to eventually become a dynamic pass catcher, but he’s still raw. Even so, he’s a strong candidate to become a safety blanket for whichever quarterback is under center in Cleveland.
