NFL Draft: Cincinnati Bengals take another Buckeye

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard and Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson with back-to-back third round picks Friday night after making a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hubbard, the 77th overall pick, is a Cincinnati native who played at Moeller High School before going to OSU, where he was a two-year starter who recorded 16.5 sacks.

Jefferson, the 78th pick, was a three-year starter for the Longhorns who recorded 12 sacks and 25.5 tackles for loss.

Earlier in the evening the Bengals took Wake Forest safety Jessie Bates in the second round after trading down eight spots with Kansas City in order to trade up 22 spots from 100 to 78 in the third round.
