Morris, who won Clark County’s Pam Evans Smith Miss Basketball Award in 2019, entered the transfer portal on March 13, four days after her season ended.
“Thank you to my teammates, coaches, trainers and the entire Quinnipiac athletic community for everything you have done for me the past four years,” Morris wrote on Twitter. “I have made so many relationships and memories I will forever be thankful for.
“A big thank you to my teammates who have been by my side throughout my journey at Quinnipiac, and have made me not only a better player but an even better person. Thank you Quinnipiac for allowing me to not only live my dream but to also graduate with two degrees.
“With that being said, I have decided to enter my name into the transfer portal for my graduate year. I am excited for all the upcoming opportunities.”
Morris made the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rookie team in 2020, the first team in 2021 and the second team in 2022 and 2023.
Morris ranks in the top four in Quinnipiac history in career blocks and rebounds and is one of 17 players to score 1,000 points or more.
At Kent State, Morris will join a program that finished 21-11 last season and lost to Syracuse in the first round of the NIT.
