Dayton’s first game will be Nov. 25 at the Lahaina Civic Center. Dayton will play Michigan State or Virginia Tech in the second round on Nov. 26. The possible opponents in the final game Nov. 27 are Kansas, UCLA, Chaminade or BYU.

Kansas plays Chaminade in the first round. BYU plays UCLA.

Georgia finished 11-21 last season, the first for coach Tom Crean.

Dayton also played in Maui in 2000 and 2003. Dayton is 7-2 in the tournament. It finished third in 2000, won the tournament in 2003 and placed third in 2013. Victories over Gonzaga and California in Maui in 2013 helped the Flyers earn an at-large berth in the 2014 NCAA tournament when it reached the Elite Eight.

The Maui Invitational games are among five Dayton will play on a neutral court during the non-conference schedule.

Dayton also will play Colorado on Dec. 21 in the Chicago Legends event at the United Center.

Dayton announced in June it will play the Saint Mary's Gaels, who should be a top-25 team, on Dec. 8 in the Air Force Reserve Jerry Colangelo Classic at Talking Stick Resort Arena, the home of the NBA's Phoenix Suns.

Dayton's other known non-conference games are at home against Indiana State on Nov. 9 — that will be the season opener — and at home against Nebraska-Omaha on Nov. 19.
