Here’s the text of the letter:
“The Dayton Dragons wish to extend safe and well-wishes to all our fans and the entire Dayton community. This is indeed a difficult time in our history.
“The social distancing order has continued and will head into the entire month of April, thus delaying the beginning of the Dragons 2020 season. To open Day Air Ballpark to fans we will need the Governor’s order on large gatherings to be lifted, as well as direction from Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, and the Midwest League regarding the season start date.
“There are still many unknowns besides the start date of the season, the length of the season, the number of home games to be played, etc. — and things seem to be changing by the hour/day. Once more information is known on the start of the 2020 season, we will reach out to you and all our clients with solutions and remedies.
"The Dragons Den team store is still open online, so if you are in the shopping mood visit the store at https://dragons.milbstore.com/. There are lots of new items available now. New items include sweatshirts, hats, plush items, and more. New apparel available for infant through adult sizes is being added frequently. As a bonus, please take 20% off your online purchase and use the code SPRING2020 at the checkout. This 20% is now available through May 3rd (some exclusions apply).
Thank you for your patience. Please stay safe.”
