Ohio State will host Akron at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the National Invitation Tournament.
The Buckeyes (20-13) are a No. 3 seed, while the Zips (26-8) are a No. 6 seed.
“We are excited about the opportunity to continue our season and appreciate the NIT committee for selecting Ohio State,” OSU coach Thad Matta said. “We have a young team who will surely benefit from the additional practice and competition.”
