Bengals place Tyler Boyd, Dre Kirkpatrick, Jordan Evans on IR

The Cincinnati Bengals on Friday placed three more players, including two starters, on injured reserve in advance of Sunday’s regular-season finale at Pittsburgh.

Starting wide receiver Tyler Boyd (knee), starting cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (shoulder) and Jordan Evans (ankle), a part-time starter at linebacker, brought the Bengals total to 18 players on IR this season.

Boyd, a third-year player, started the first 14 games of the season before injuring his knee against Oakland. He has 76 catches for 1,028 yards — both team highs — and seven touchdowns.

Kirkpatrick, a seventh-year player, injured his shoulder last week vs. Cleveland. In 13 starts this season, he has 41 tackles and nine passes defensed.

Evans, a second-year player, has made five starts and appeared in 14 games. He suffered an ankle injury vs. the Raiders. He ranks fifth on the team with 59 tackles.

To fill their spots on the roster, the Bengals signed running back Quinton Flowers, offensive tackle Kent Perkins and wide receiver Hunter Sharp off the practice squad .
