Billy Hamilton makes the incredible catches look ordinary, but he outdid himself Sunday with an extraordinary play against the Milwaukee Brewers at Great American Ball Park.

The Reds lost the game 4-2. It would have been worse, but Hamilton took extra bases away from Nick Franklin with a leaping catch on the warning track to end the sixth inning. Wily Peralta likely would have scored from first had Hamilton not made the grab.

“It’s never a surprise,” Reds manager Bryan Price said. “The unfortunate thing is it’s a surprise when he doesn’t make that play. That’s challenging to be that good all the time, but he does that. We talk about great players because they do great things. I don’t think he’ll ever be forgotten in Cincinnati. The guy has played center field as well as anybody.”
