DH baseball at Fifth Third Field today

Doubleheader high school baseball continues today, Wednesday, April 20, at Dayton’s Fifth Third Field. Part of the Dayton Dragons 11th annual series of games.

First up is Celina (8-5) vs. Indian Lake (8-6) at 4:30 p.m. Celina features junior lefty Seth Lonsway, and Ohio State recruit who’s fastball is close to 90 mph. Indian Lake’s Alex Jacobs is third in CBC batting (.474) and Nick Silvis leads the CBC in RBI’s (16).

It’s Wayne (5-7) vs. West Carrollton (4-7) at 7 p.m. in the nightcap. Senior catcher/infielder Nick Chaffman leads Wayne in batting (.367). Tyler Wilson leads West Carrollton in hitting (.379).

Games are free; gates open at 4 p.m.
