Cincinnati-based Pedal Wagon is coming to Dayton.

This lunch comes with wheels.

Pedal Wagon Dayton is pushing its recently bolstered Pedal-Powered Lunch program through November.

Jen Bergman, the company's manager, said the program started last year, but was not heavily promoted until recently.

“Pedal Wagon is known for its pub crawl, bar hop,” she said. “The peddling lunch experience was a way for us to incorporate food.”

Pedal Wagon has partnered with Canal Street Arcade and Deli, Table 33 and The Trolley Stop to offer a ride and a prefixed meal for $34 a person.

The fee, about $10 more than a typical Pedal Wagon voyage, includes a drink and tips.

Participants can bring their own adult beverages or purchase them during lunch at the restaurant, Bergman said.

She said corporations have used the service for staff lunches, as have groups looking for something different.

Pedal Wagon is rolling out its progressive dinner program which will stop at three different restaurants for an appetizer, entree and dessert, Bergman said.

Pedal Wagon mainly operates in and around downtown Dayton and the Oregon District.
