SHEFFS, Thomas M.
Thomas M. Sheffs, born 2-6-63, age 58, passed away peacefully on 11-10-21 at Hospice of Dayton with his family by his side. He is survived by his sisters, Patti Sheffs and Mary Ellen Sheffs (Garnett), his nephew Robert J. "Jason" Sheffs (Tammy, Nathan and Matthew), as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Sheffs and his brother Jay. Tom grew up in Beavercreek and graduated from Greene Joint Vocational School in auto repair. He furthered his education at Lincoln Technical School in Indianapolis for diesel repair. He pursued several careers including auto mechanic, landscaper and restaurant/bar management. He worked at Dayton Wire Wheel then started his own business where he became renowned as the "Wheel Man" for custom motorcycle wheels and rims. Tom loved ALL things motorcycle. He traveled all over the country and was proud to say that his HD Dresser topped 300Kmiles. Tom was well known as the "Mayor" of Tommy Town. Never did anyone get turned away when they asked Tom for help. His adventurous spirit and unbound love and loyalty are already missed. Many thanks to Dr's Safa and Hellan and staff at Kettering Cancer Care and KMC, Hospice of Dayton and ALL who cared for Tom during this journey. Services will be held at Tobias Funeral Home of Beavercreek on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 2pm-4pm with a celebration of his life to follow.
