HARDY, III, Grover L.

Age 80 of Springfield, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 10, 2021. He was born the son of Grover L. and Ruth (Barnum) Hardy on March 11, 1941, in Los Angeles,

California. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Grace Hardy and Joann Kuper; stepdaughter Melissa K. Blaylock. Grover is survived by his wife Jean M. Hardy; daughters Monica (Todd) Spohn of California, Lisa (John) Brake of Louisiana, and Marcia (Mark) McCue of Beavercreek; step-children Paul (Tina) Qualls of

Tennessee, Debra Fath of Ohio, John Qualls of Tennessee, and Shawn Qualls of California; brother Earl Hardy; sisters Leola and Naoma Hardy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grover will be missed as a brother, husband, father and grandfather. Grover proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he worked in nondestructive testing as an electrical engineer. He was a Fellow of the American

Society of Nondestructive Testing. After retirement, Grover enjoyed playing golf and traveling the world. Memorial
