CLYBURN, Arnold R.

Age 94, of New Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday,

December 29, 2020. He was born on June 24, 1926, in Willowton, WV, to his parents, William & Myrtle (Davis) Clyburn who have preceded him in death, along with his wife, Marilyn (Jarvis) Clyburn in 2014. Arnold is survived by his son, Ron (Theresa) Clyburn; grandsons, Travis and Ryan (Megan) Clyburn, and Matt

(Anna) Wilcher; sister, Helen Cocus; and nephew, Morris

(Carolyn) Clyburn. Arnold enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 17 and served honorably with the 24th Infantry Division in the Pacific theater during WWII. In 1985, he retired from Bankers Life & Casualty insurance company after 25 years and started Clyburn's Insurance Agency in New Lebanon with his wife Marilyn. For many years, Arnold raised Beagles and was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He also loved baseball and

enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds. In 2008, Arnold was awarded an honorary High School diploma by Dixie High School in New Lebanon. Over the years, his favorite pastime was watching his son and grandsons play sports. A celebration of life will be held for Arnold at a later date. The Clyburn
