Died, December 26, 2020.
Born in Dayton, OH, on Aug 14, 1948, to Stanley and Eileen (Bruns) Braun. Bill married the girl next door (almost) and best friend, Dee, in 1969. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage on a family Cruise in May 2019. Together they have three sons; Anthony and his wife Kelly, Andrew and his wife Nicole, Aaron and his wife Miss Candice (deceased). Bill also is proud of his four grandsons; Noah, Ethan, Elliot, and William. Bill is survived by his brother Dan Braun, wife Kerry, his brother-in-law Steve
Calondis, sister-in-law Marilyn Calondis, and brother-in-law Pete Calondis, wife Felecia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Chaminade High School, Class of '66, and the University of Dayton, Class of '70. He was a lifelong fan and season ticket holder for UD basketball. Bill
retired from GM and Delphi with 38 years of service. He was a volunteer and active member of FKAL, the Kettering
Dor-Wood Optimist, and a 3000-hour volunteer at the US Air Force Museum. He coached baseball and basketball for his sons during their grade school years. Bill loved fishing and boating and family vacations in Cedarville, MI, on Lake Huron. There was nothing better than frying Lake Erie Perch, which he caught with his Lake Erie Fishing Buddies. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Woodman Drive at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Friends and family who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service at http://www.ascensionkettering.org and click the watch live link. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Westbrock Funeral Home on
Bigger Road. Post cremation interment will be at Calvary
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's honor to the Museum of the United States Air Force or Carroll High School Education Scholarship Fund.
