Bluegrass music echoed through the stacks at the New Carlisle Library as the band Lafferty Pike performed on Monday.
Afterward, kids were able to explore the instruments up close in an “instrument petting zoo.” They strummed, picked and touched the instruments that had just made music for them.
The band's performance and instrument petting zoo that followed was part of the “Libraries Rock” summer reading program at the library.
