For 15 years, the organizations have decorated Christmas trees using children’s themes of their choice, a press release from Mercy Health said.
There were 14 Christmas trees this year with themes like Candyland, Hogwarts, Movie Night, Paw Patrol and Rainbow Bright, the release said. The trees were judged by employees and residents at Oakwood Village.
The Christmas trees were given to Clark County Job and Family Services. They will deliver them to local families in need to brighten the holiday season for their children, the release said.
“This is such a wonderful event that results with positive impact to our community, bringing smiles to the youth of Springfield,” Chinn said.
