2-car crash on Columbus Avenue

A two car accident on Columbus Avenue in Springfield tipped one vehicle on its side and sent another crashing into a pole Sunday evening. The driver of the overturned car was being treated and possibly transported with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Columbus Avenue was closed while the accident was cleaned up.
