The winning numbers were 17, 19, 27, 40 and 68 -- with a gold Mega Ball 2, according to the news release.

It was the seventh largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the largest since a $1.5 billion prize was awarded last October.
There had not been a Mega Millions winner since March 12, when a ticket in Missouri matched all six numbers.

The jackpot resets to $40 million for its next drawing Tuesday, contest officials said.
