You'd expect to see whales and sharks while sailing on the ocean, but not a puppy.
A group of sailors with the yacht club RYCC Savoia in Naples, Italy, came across a small Labrador retriever swimming alone in the ocean on Oct. 24, according to Mashable.
The puppy, named Noodle, is seen trying to swim toward the boat, but the strong ocean current makes it hard. Noodle finally makes it, and the crew on board scoops the shivering and exhausted pooch out of the water to safety.
The puppy is believed to have been in the water for hours after falling overboard from a ferry. Noodle's family apparently alerted the staff on the ferry, but they refused to stop.
Noodle was brought to shore and warmed with a hair dryer. The brave dog has been reunited with his family and is said to be doing well.
