Kansas City Chiefs star receiver Tyreek Hill thanked a fan who drove his grandparents to Kansas City to make sure they could see him play Sunday.

A stranger named Dave Fearn met Hill's grandparents because of flight cancellations in St. Louis, WDAF reported. The group then drove about 250 miles together to make sure they made it to the AFC Championship game.

“Thank you Dave,” Hill wrote on social media.

More than a third of the flights Friday at St. Louis-Lambert International Airport were canceled and many others delayed, WDAF reported.

"Pops said they were the most amazing and humble people he's met in a long time," Dave Fearn's son Dakota said on social media. "Considers Mrs. Virginia and Mr. Herman a lifelong friend now after the 3 hour drive they spent together. KC fans always got your back!"
